An Elementor popup template is a finished popup design that you insert into the Master Addons Popup Builder and edit in Elementor. It comes with the layout, text, images, buttons and styling in place, so all you change are the words and the offer.
A popup template only covers what sits inside the popup. When and where it appears is set separately in the popup settings: the trigger (page load, exit intent, scroll and so on), the display conditions, and the layout, which can be a centered modal, a notification bar or a fullscreen overlay.

How to Import an Elementor Popup Template
You insert a popup template from inside the Elementor editor, after you create the popup in the Master Addons Popup Builder.
- Install Elementor and Master Addons. Both are on WordPress.org.
- Create a popup. Go to Master Addons → Popup Builder → Add New Popup, give it a name, switch Activation on and pick where it should show.
- Open the template library. Click Edit with Elementor, then the Master Addons templates button in the canvas. Choose the Popups tab.
- Preview and insert. Find the design you picked on this page and click Insert. Templates with a Pro label need an active Master Addons Pro license.
- Set the behavior and publish. Open MA Popup Settings in the top toolbar to choose the layout, overlay, close button and trigger, then publish.

Which Trigger Fits Which Popup?
The template decides how a popup looks. The trigger decides when it opens. The Master Addons Popup Builder has seven triggers: On Page Load, On Click, On Scroll, On Scroll to Element, On Exit Intent, After Inactivity and Custom. The six after On Page Load are part of Master Addons Pro.

How to Edit a Popup Template After You Import It
Every part of these templates is a normal Elementor container or widget, so you edit them the same way you edit a page.
- Colors and fonts: click any heading or button and change it in the Style tab. To match your brand across many popups, switch them to your global colors and fonts.
- Forms: the email fields in the demos are placeholders. Replace them with your form plugin, or the Master Addons Contact Form 7 widget, and connect that to your email tool.
- Images: swap the photo in the image widget or the container background. Product popups look best with your own product shots on a plain background.
- Close links: the “No thanks” links already close the popup. Keep that option visible, because a popup with no way out annoys people fast.
- Mobile: preview the popup at phone width before you publish. Split designs stack the image on top, and long headlines may need a smaller mobile font size.
Popup Design Tips That Keep Visitors Happy
A good popup asks for one thing and makes the reward obvious. These five habits cover most of it:
- Wait a few seconds or until the visitor scrolls before you show a signup popup.
- Put the offer in the headline: “10% off your first order” beats “Join our community”.
- Keep forms to one field when you can. Ask for a name later.
- Show each popup once per visitor, or once a week at most.
- Use a slide-in or a bar for news that doesn’t need someone’s full attention.

Why does my imported popup look different from the demo?
Usually Elementor’s default fonts and colors are overriding the design. Turn on Disable Default Colors and Disable Default Fonts in Elementor → Settings and reload. Popups that use photos also need the images to finish loading.
