In this Master Addons 2.0.9.6 release, we’ve added new features and improvements to our existing functionality.

We don’t just bump the version. You should update Master Addons to stay protected against vulnerabilities and to benefit from stability and new capabilities. As soon as our users report a bug, we fix it and release a new update.
Now let’s dive into the visuals. I’ll explain how you can apply these new features and changes to your WordPress website.
Baykanun requested an interesting feature “Show/hide title by clicking on the image“ and we provided a solution in the support topic. Later, he asked if we could support Dynamic Tags in our image hover effects. We listened and introduced this new feature. The good news is, if you’re a Master Addons user, you’ll now have access to dynamic tags in this effect.
Now you don’t need an extra plugin to create a mega menu. Use the native Elementor editor while building it. You can add any existing elements and extensions to design your mega menu.
Before trying the mega menu, make sure to visit the Extension library and enable the Mega Menu extension. Then navigate to Appearance > Menus and select the menu where you’d like to add a mega menu.
Just enable the mega menu for your selected menu. As soon as you click the “Master Mega” option, a popup like the following screenshot will appear. Enabling this will let you add mega menu content within the Elementor editor.
After customizing your mega menu, just save the settings. Navigate to MA Template, add a new header, and design your website’s header area. Then add the Master Addons Nav Menu, select the menu item, and preview your website.
While debugging on our local server, we encountered this issue and made an immediate fix. Now you can add multiple colors and control the duration of your animation. Change the angle to properly fit your needs. Navigate to the container or grid style and enable the gradient background. Then define your colors properly, and your background will start animating.
We received a request regarding the Particles Background not working in the editor preview. We have fixed this issue. If it still doesn’t work on your end, we recommend clearing your browser cache and reloading the page after enabling the particles effect. The good news is that we will soon bring better control over particles and different types of particles in this extension.
We have added some new animations and overlays to our Background Slider extension. Navigate to Styles, enable the Background Slider for your container, and add your images. You must set the image resolution to Full to get a better preview of your Background Slider. This helps users who want to keep the content the same but apply different images as a background slider.
There are two different ways to update Master Addons. The first one is for free users, and the second one is recommended for PRO users of Master Addons.
In your WordPress dashboard, go to Dashboard > Plugins.
Look for “Master Addons” in the list and click Update Now.
Once the update completes, clear any caching plugins or your browser cache to ensure you see the latest changes.
Log in to your Master Addons account and download the ZIP file.
In WordPress, navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
Select the downloaded ZIP, click Install Now, then Activate.
After you finish the update, I recommend you to revisit any pages where you have used our Mega Menu, Animated Gradient, Background Slider, Particles and check if everything is working fine or not.
If you notice anything missing, please open the page in Elementor editor and check if everything saves properly there.
